RMZ450 triples on a Kx450

I swear i have heard the RMZ and the KXF are almost the same bike but i was wondering if anyone knew if the RMZ aftermarket triples will fit the KXF. Im thinkin its a no but just thought i would ask.?

I kinda doubt it since Suzuki uses Showas and Kawi uses KYB.

I've not pulled out a tape measure and protractor, but it might be fair to say that the RMZ and KX450F have a lot in common in terms of the chassis geometry and mass distribution. To get my drift, consider the red, blue and orange bikes.

I'm not sure about similarity of seat to peg positioning for yellow and green 450s. And bar/grip positioning can (with few adjust or a few bucks) be just about anywhere a rider wants.

But swapping triples is a different story again.

they won't work, borke a top triple clamp night before a race on time, my friends family owns a suzuki shop, its a no go I tried

:thinking:You are probably thinking about the 2005 rmz250 and kx250f. They were the same bike with different color plastics.? The suzuki's were actually built by Kawasaki on the same production line that the kawi's were. That ended in 2006 and they made their own 250 4-strokers and haven't looked back since.
