California San Fransiscito 7N02 road open?

Recommended Posts

It's closed by the lake and has been for many years AFAIK. I drive by there frequently and have never seen an open dirt access point except to park and go fishing.

I hope this helps to clarify the trail situation. http://books.google.com/books?id=4vLmDetRhwIC&pg=PA44&lpg=PA44&dq=7n02&source=bl&ots=1yiTEFOnuf&sig=rfS1pj-9bVfZhNlfsZ3TyipMYH0&hl=en&ei=TxgtTOjnBpXPngegkp21Aw&sa=X&oi=book_result&ct=result&resnum=3&ved=0CBcQ6AEwAjgU#v=onepage&q=7n02&f=false You can get to L.E. road by the Lakes Community Club. (Rock Inn). According to the warden, it is open if you have a sparky.

You can get the Angeles open route mans here

Looks like 7N02 to 7N01 and finally 7N05 to the Rock Inn open. The problem is where 6N21 is closed at the junction of 3416W02. The last time I was there the FS had placed a bunch of concrete barricades. You could go around them on a bike, but I think that the road is officially closed.
