If you have your owners manual its in there. Forks should disassembled and cleaned with new seals but thats up to you.

I know how to do all the work just wanted to know how much oil or the measurement from the top down the bike is not mine so I dont want to get a manuel I put 24 oz. in each side that was just a gess and it feels ok I still would like to know though

A ballpark figure is 570 - 590 ml per leg.

I use Mobil 1 full syn ATF at 5" air gap in all WP forks

the manual for my '05 525 exc states 110mm from the top as the standard setting. (springs out and forks collapsed)
