water in transmission oil

the last time I changed my oil the transmission oil was gray and watery. I am told this is because I got water in it. After I changed the oil I went on one ride. Now the oil is grey again. how does the water get in it? do I need to flush it somehow when changing the oil?

Grey oil is normal from the clutch wear, etc.. Water will cause the oil to be more of a milky looking liquid. If your tranny oil is milky, I would check the water pump to make sure everything is working properly. Bearings, seals, impeller, and all that jazz. Also, if you are getting coolant into your oil, you could check your coolant level to see if you are losing any as well, for a quick diagnostic.
