klx110 tips please

rode my girlfriends klx110 for a few weeks and decided to buy one of my own. first thing is suspension. i need it stiffer.. any tips or cheap mods like full rear shocks i can change?

i know that the suspension from the kx60 (not the 65) is a bolt on racing front forks for the klx 110... i did this and i love it... check ebay

Shocks are easy to find. Ishocks do the trick as well as. Elka makes one I think. Look around, there is a lot of stuff for those bikes.

If you dont want KX suspension you can do stiffer forks springs different shock settings new swinger etc

cheapest way would be to get a stiff rear spring and put one hd spring in the front with some heavier oil. Just depends on how much you want to spend.

exactly, although I hear the stiff rear spring is a waste of money. A Fox Float would be my first choice.

yes i already have bbr front and rear stuff springs and there great, but i am going to purchase a longer swingarm and i want kx65 forks , anyone got some?

check on PM or ebay. Just remember the 65 forks will need to be respurng, revalved for you.

Hey guys, new topic...both my boys have stock KLX110 bikes and they'll be racing a local pee wee series this fall. Can anyone out there give me the best possible hop up tips for the bikes for under $300 per bike? Not really looking to spend a lot of money but I'd like to make them as competitive as possible. Got any gearing tips, etc? Thanks.
