Emergancy carb question

Was jetting my carb today and pulled the needle out and the spring that goes inbetween the plastic retainer and the needle got lost somehow.anybody know what size it is for sure and if i can go to somewhere like home depot to pick up another one?wanna get this baby up and running today

have you tried calling a local dealership for the needle spring?it's detail #5 in the carburetor diagram.suzuki part number 13481-04F00.

the dynojet kits have an extra one furnished in the box.perhaps someone with an extra from the kit can help you out.i gave mine to a needy soul here quite a while ago.

well its sunday and no dealerships are open today.was hoping to maybe find specs on the spring and maybe match it up to one at home depot or a hardware store if thats possible?

also where are you finding this exploded parts view of the carb?

i've never seen anything that small for a compression spring at those stores.you could try a local grainger or mcmaster-carr industrial supply.

how long is it do you guys know?i never saw the spring once i i pulled the plastic peice it it mustve went flying.only reason i know theres a spring is because of the paper the jet kit came with

About 10mm long. All it does is keep some pressure on the needle... Make it long enough to do that, but not compress and bind when the needle cap is in place.

I don't have a BSR36 in the garage to check actual length on that spring.. Get it close, order a new one, have riding.
