check the basics...

gas, compression and spark... all at the right time... it will run...

you need a minimum of 90 for a motor to run smoothly... these little motors should put double that if they are in good shape...

fuel, bowl is filling properly and if it's getting too much that plug will be wet...

spark, you have a cdi and a coil... pull the plug out, install a new plug so you know it's good and crank the motor over while holding the plug against the motor fin. It has to get a ground. you should see spark at the electrode. if the plug is really good the spark may jump around some...

If you don't have a book... DON'T waste anymore time... get one... You can test the cdi and the coil with a meter... instructions are in the book...

If the cam chain jumped at the timing is off... The book will tell you how to check that as well...
