05 YZ450 vs 06+ handling

I have a 2005 YZ450F that's in good condition and is mostly stock other than ENZO suspension, a tall seat, and Windham bend bars.

How do the new 06+ plus bike handle compared to my 05?

Because after riding a couple of friends 99, 02, and 03 CR250's in the past few weeks it makes me want to sell my 450 and buy a YZ250 or CR250.

The biggest thing that is holding back is the fact that I have $800 wrapped up into my suspension. Nobody can touch me in a drag race but I just can't hold the same lines in corners on my bike as theirs. In corners where I would struggle on my bike, I would actually have fun in on theirs.

Are the 06+ 450's even in the same ballpark at the 250 2T or will the 250's turn circles around them all day long?
