Swing Arm Troubles- 07' yz250f

Recommended Posts

I am in the process of greasing the entire rear end of my bike along with some other things. But I have run into a problem, no matter how much pounding I do on my swingarm rod, I cannot get it to budge even a bit. Any suggestions?

In a post I started about notchy steering/bad steering stem bearings, the collective here told me the bearings were rusted due to a bad/defective seal. It was also mentioned that the swingarm bearing seals were also poorly manufactured and the bearings tend to rust quickly. Hopefully you can budge it loose, but it sounds like the bearings may have seized to the bolt. I'm sure someone can chime in.

My thread for reference (post 7, when he writes "cut" he means ripped or torn): https://thumpertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=902557
