Lever replacement. Brands? Preference?

Recommended Posts

they are fragile, because I will explain it, your stock one is cast, aftermarket ones are hinged usually and are forged unless otherwise specified. I believe the sunlines are the best. For the price of 70 bucks it beats the hell out of asvs 50. dont get me wrong though. I love my asvs, they are nice! Zeta also makes some well made folding levers.

Humm, Stock levers have done me good. I was having an issue in a corner last weekend in well sand and hell hard there like 3-4 times and the stock brake lever never broke.. I was surprized though. 3rd gear wot flinging me off the bike and the lever never bent or broke.

Allthough I did have an issue last month where I fell on the clutch side and some how managed to break the brake side. I think my kneebraces hit it though so O well.

Its a also a little trick to put teflon tape on the perch clamp, and moving the clutch perch in as far as it can go without getting into the bend on the bar. Helps lower pull tension and makes lever harder to break.
