how is the suspention and how often have you had to adjust the valves and rebuild the top end?

250 F's will typically have beat motors. Nobody sells a four stroke in great condition. You can expect a rebuild in the near futrure with either bike negotiate with that in mind and be sure it is in the budget. Ask both owners if the bikes have been rebuilt, by whom and when. If they answer no it will be sooner than latter.
