What do you eat before a race?

I dont know what kind of racing your doing, but I do 2-3 hour hare scambles. I eat a normal breakfast that morning, then about 1/2 hour before the race

I eat 2 bananas and a cliff bar. I also keep some sort of energy suplement in my camelback.(i.e. cyto max, heed endurance mix..etc..) To warm up, I ride my mt bike around the pits or some of the course throughout the morning making sure to max out my heartbeat up atleast twice in order to aclimate myself to the elevation and how my body will react to it.
