no power to the rear wheel

Hello yall,

I was out riding jawbone a few months back. Hill climbing, reving the piss out of it and carrying on. After dumping it on the way up and coasting back down for another go at it, the bike won't transfer any power the rear wheel. It runs, can be shifted through the gears, put into neutral (shift linkage seems to be ok) acts like it is always in neutral. No strange knocking sounds. Everything seems normal. Is this a clutch issue? What's the problem?

check to see if your front sprocket came loose. my streetbike did this when i had my girl on the back. i was like ***.

Sounds like the clutch is fried. Lean the bike over on it's left side and pop the clutch cover off. If it stinks really bad...well, get ready to replace it. Have you checked your free play in the cable?
