2010 kxf450 exaust

Looking at getting an aftermarket exaust. Any reccomendations on the best pipe to go for?? cheers.

I bought a Pro Circuit Ti4R for my 450, I like it a lot. It takes away some of the abruptness down low and increases the top end. It looks really trick too of course. The only downside is the cost.

I got a FMF full system for my 09. 4.1 can with a powerbomb header. It really took away the raspy note and sounds nice and deep. It looks trick with the anodized can too.

for the price you cant beat rocket exhaust, make sure to buy a Spark arrestor to take away some sound, it is quieter and cheaper that stock. But I would also be tempted to try a T4s or T4 slip on, they are quiet compared to stock.

The best exhaust might give 4 hp MAX. might.

No where near 4 hp alone. youll be lucky to see 1 hp gain in just changing the pipe. However I bought the pc t4r and really like it.

a fully modded motor will give about 5 and about 7 with a full performance exhaust. But thats 1000s down the road

Recently fitted a Powerbomb to my 09'. Can not feel the added horse power they say it makes but has noticeably moved the power and given the bike much stronger low to mid.

Have it mated to a cheap FMF (Speed) can and can only imagine how much better again it would be with a 4.1.

Sounds very different to how the Pro Circuit system delivers.

Now with a full race motor as asg stated it will give more power, but to the stock motor a pipe is more about looks, sound, and a shift in power.

There is no doubt when I fitted the PC Ti-R4 the motor pulled noticeably better and longer.

Well I wasn't looking for big power gains from the pipe, I'm lucky to use the power a stock 450 produces. I just wanted a quality, strong, good looking exhaust, that took away that AWFUL exhaust note the kx is known for. The FMF did all I wanted and expected.

that and pro circuit, I like the pro circuit, it just makes good quiet but that big thumper note. Is it just me?

I'm with ya asg, I love proircuit products. And as you add more engine mods the pipe helps more and more. Cheers

Is that the full system or just a slip-on? Im looking for a system for my 09 but dont know what to choose. I want to maintain the smooth power i have now and get rid of the titanium header.

hmm. MRD is good, Rockets pretty good, I think PC sells a SS system. Its kind of up in the air. you choose. FMF is a always a good choice, but to me they all are!

Most reviews let you know the kxf 450 dont need a pipe, the engine is so good stock

its not necessarily for the extra power. the stock exhaust is loud and has a horrible note to it. also it sticks out quite far, and the header is easily bent/smashed.

I would buy a Q4, or a speed FMF
