1994 YZ-250 - New to Me - Anything to Know???

I picked-up a 1994 YZ-250 for $240. Bike had sat in garage for 3 years, but is complete and in general good shape. Compression was 180. Brakes work, suspension bearings seem tight, except one fork leaking. Bike was locked in gear - I was told it had bent shift forks.

I stripped it down to baare fram and painted the frame (white).

Was planning to split the cases, but shifter started working after I got side cover and clutch off. All seemed well, then I found the broken gear tooth that had fallen out of the tranny. Picked up a gear set on eBay for $120. Put it all back together this weekend. Cylinder looked great - looks like someone did a very light hone on it not too many miles ago.

All I spent money on so far was the gears and paint.

Tabs were busted off Clutch nut lock washer, so I left the washer there and tightened (see seperate post).

Needs new tires, and cables.

Plan to get it running and use for Hare Scrambles. Likely will get a FWW, bark busters, and maybe auto-clutch (if they make for it).

Anything about these bikes that I should know? I'm familiar with KTMs and KWs.
