I currently own a 2002 WR 250F. I am thinking of buying a 2006 WR 450F for $2800. Supposedly it only has 10 hours on it. I am going to test drive the machine on Wednesday. Is there anything I should look for on this particular machine. I love the performance of the WR 250 but I want more power to lift the front wheel and roost through the turns. I strictly ride trails.

Any input would be awesome.

Thanks for your time...

Glenn

A yz250 just fits the bill for what your asking for. I'm not saying the wr450 can't roost through turns and lift the front wheel it just simply wont be half as fun as on a light nimble two stroke. You are used to the feel of your wr250, the yz is much closer in size and weight and should make for an easier transition, just be prepared it will be a much faster quicker turning machine than your current bike. If you haven't tried one and are open to it try it you will be presently surprised.
