Coolent Over Flow Help?!?

Recommended Posts

So, I recently made a thread asking about over heating options. I now want to make a coolent overflow tank. It must be home made. Iv read about them and how people make them from turkey basters, pvc pipe, and aluminum bottles. Can anyone give me FULL instructions on how to make one. Pic would be nice too.

Thanks, Ryan

"loose" instructions: Your overflow hose goes into the bottom end of your overflow bottle from the top. Then take a shorter hose and attach it to the top/side of that bottle and route it down so anything comming out of it would go in dirt. Make sure the radiator overflow tube reaches within a half inch of the bottom of your overflow bottle. Most guys making their own overflow bottle for their mx bikes make them too small. Trust me, when your stuck in a canyon or tight trail you can easily pump out close to a quart of hot coolant. What I'm saying is that a small redbull can is not really enough. Supermoto catch tanks are not radiator overflow bottles.
