Vintage racing pictures from Washougal 2010

Whats the story on this race? Was it run in conjunction with the national?

I got to the track as they were starting the vintage practice. I don't know if it was part of a regular vintage series, or a one off event. The racing wasn't very hard fought, but was fun to watch

Brian Barnes who is the track manager decided to honor the 30th anniversary of the Washougal National with a vintage bike display on Friday night with over 80 vintage bikes lined up along the whoop section. Then on Saturday all the vintage bikes had a 3 lap practice and then right before the final 450 moto all the vintage bikes did a parade lap around the track stopping and lining up 5 across on each whoop for a photo op. Then all the vintage bikes had a 4 lap retro race. Rick Burgett was riding a YZ465 # 675, Chuck Sun was on a 1980 CR250 # 38y and 1985 Washougal winner Eric Eaton was on my 1981 490 Maico #22t.

It was a very cool weekend and a great big thanks to Brian Barnes for making it happen.
