Did any of the KLX/KLR's come with 17" rear rims?

Tryng to find which bike came with a 17inch and 2.5 inch wide rear rim? Hopefully someone on here knows also if they did, if they are 36 hole rims?

Trying to find something to work on me flat track project to lace up some 17" dirt track (not supermoto!) rims.

My 05 klr 650 has a 17 x 2.5 / 36 hole rear rim.......that is the standard rim.

If you dont mind me asking. What are you using for the front wheel?

I have an 85KLR with a 21 inch wheel and want to downsize to a 17 to match the back. I want it to be a better street machine as I use it there most of the time.
