yz250f fork spring rate?

Recommended Posts

frezno my buddy had an 09 and it had .44s, do you think maybe the US models were sprung heavier?

wait, race tech site is saying 09 had .45s, and all other 06-10 had the .44s. Can anyone confirm this?

John, these are the official data from Yamaha, all US (previously i was wrong with 06 though)

i added the spring length as they varied over the years

often sites are mixing up N/mm and kg/mm - be aware of this

2001 = 0.44 kg/mm (spring length 460mm)

2002 = 0.44 kg/mm (spring length 460mm)

2003 = 0.43 kg/mm (spring length 460mm)

2004 = 0.43 kg/mm (spring length 479mm)

2005 = 0.44 kg/mm (spring length 465mm)

2006 = 0.44 kg/mm (spring length 454mm)

2007 = 0.43 kg/mm (spring length 454mm)

2008 = 0.45 kg/mm (spring length 454mm)

2009 = 0.45 kg/mm (spring length 454mm)

2010 = 0.45 kg/mm (spring length 454mm)
