crf250r 2010 shock bleeding

Recommended Posts

I have read many bleeding threads on this forum for bleeding shock so I'm ready to change the oil on mine but I have read a couple of methods the dry method is too complicated so I will stick to the other method and in this I'm fully confident but in the final bleeding part.

After I have everything ready do I have to lay the shock flat release the bladder pressure and remove the compression adjuster assy and let the oil

out? or should I top it up with oil and then install the adjustor?

I'm very confused here!

pull the shock shaft fully out(if it has a top out spring) and use a suitable bar to hold the shaft fully extended, then undo the adjuster just so the o ring shows, then press the shrader valve so the bladder is extended fully, now tighten the adjuster, press the shaft fully in, and gas it up, test the clickers to make sure they work.
