If you haven't cleaned the tire up yet, like dude said kerosene.... They used it at a car wash I worked at to clean white walls up right before the customer drove off. Wire brush I think, maybe nylon bristles.. We weren't using it on the tread, but sure it will go away quicker than motor oil.

kerosene is oil based ... degreaser followed by water is what you need

Thanks. I will do the obvious thing I havent done in 15k miles....... but I was just wondering how so much oil came out in such a short span and there is no evidence of a seal blowing out. Just wondering if it came from somewere else..... Just freggin weird, the seal looks perfect. ?

Don't go by the look of the seal. If the cs nut was loose like you said i would order up the parts and replace. There is a o-ring on the inside of the spacer. Replace all 4 parts. The seal, o-ring, spacer, and washer. A new nut and seal retainer wouldn't hurt either, and don't forget the red loctite.

if the nut comes loose the sprocket moves outward then the spacer with o-ring can move outward and once the o-ring gets to the end of the splines there is a path for the oil to get out.
