KTM 350 Fork oil removal.

Recommended Posts

I need to play with the oil height in my 350, what is the best way to remove 10cc of oil from the fork.

Thanks, Jason

Ok..........I have that. Do I go thru the bleed screw? Tried that on KYB's and couldn't.

Or do I need to remove the top cap and run down the outer?

Thanks, Jason

the fork oil level is usually set fully compressed with the spring out but if you are just taking a little out you might be able to go the the air bleed screw

Ok, thanks a bunch. I will probably just remove some thru the bleed screw for now.

Thanks, Jason

you need to turn the fork upside down and pump some out, or take the outer tube down, you will need a long tube to get to the oil part.

Depends on which year 350 he has, the old 2-stroke or the new 350SXF (which I assume it is). You can't set oil level like you described on the new forks, but you can take some out the bleed screws. They are twin chamber design with the spring at the bottom.
