$$$$ ho, ho, ho you mudda 2 $$$$

Yes, there is pre-running for the three-30-mile SuperCourse #6 in Cal City. Prerunning is on Friday from 12 Noon to 4 p.m. Check-in and Registration opens Friday at the Pizza Factory from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Race is Saturday starting at 10:00 a.m. (9 a.m. Rider's meeting). One rider leaves every 30 seconds (it could be every minute depending on the number of riders).

Classes for Bikes, Quads & Formual Desert Lites, Rhinos, etc.

If you haven't ridden one of these races you better make this one. It's going to be classic and a throwback to the early years in the desert, where most of the trails were still pretty virgin and certainly no overused. Cal City is being managed correctly and as a result, it offer great courses and great rides. The 30-mile three-lap events will be one you will not soon forget. The Penguin MCs are sponsors of the event and have also put up a $1000 purse which anyone can win. Check the site as to how the purse will be divided.

Trying to buy an older yz125 w a green sticker. I came across a 2004 that is green sticker. Per the owner "CA used to do a lottery thing on a certain year and bike and it was the 04 125 that got the green sticker".
I am gonna confirm the VIN, but was wondering if it's in fact true that CA issued green stickers with a lottery system for 2003 and newer bikes?
I tried searching and couldn't find anything.
Thank you all for you advice.

I just picked up a 2018 YZ250X and need to do my break in. How gnarly is Rowher Flats after rains like we just had? I'm thinking about heading there Sunday. I moved to LA last year and I've only been there 3 or 4 times, but so far I enjoy the riding there more than most of the "day trip" locations.
Not the biggest fan of Hungry Valley, but I imagine HV is ok despite the rain this week.
Side note, how bad does the road in to RF get after weather like we just had?
