Just curious as to what makes the valve guide seals fail on these things? I am in the process of selling my XR, and unfortunately if its been sitting for a few days, it will smoke quite a bit on start up until it warms up. Run it often, and it smokes very little. I did a compression test, and it made 180 PSI so the rings are still healthy. Anything I can do to reduce the seal leakage, or convince the buyer that with 180 PSI compression the engine is still healthy, even if it does smoke some on startup.
