Is there a correct way to install water pump seals on 450 .#s showing or not an or oil seal also in case half, can the bearing play a part in water leaking ouy weep hole ?

Yeah there is a seal in the case half, the way i remember is the part that is flat on the seal goes toward the cases, and the bearing i replaced because it was 12 bucks. the shaft was 43 and i replaced that as well. you can tell if that has to be replaced if there are groove marks on it. Run your fingernail down the shaft to tell. Another hint is to put a little bit of grease in the seals so the shaft can spin a little smoother. I dont think the bearing plays a huge part but it is cheap. I hope this is a little bit of help
