Seat bounce

Seat bouncing or pre-loading has the same effect as it does on a dirt bike. It is especially effective when there is a short run between a corner and an obstacle that you want to clear, but don't have the momentum needed. We use it all the time in supercross and arenacross style tracks. It makes the difference between clearing the obstacle, and coming up short.

yeah, just like spyderwolf said at has the same effect just you need to know when to seat bounce and when not to cause it could be bad if you don't know how to seat bounce, try it for the first time and case a jump or something. A quad crash hurts when you case a jump or over jump and smack your head on the bars ahah I've done it it hurts. But try it and get comfortable with it and then go for bigger and bigger jumps.
