70 Wheels on a CRF100?

Found a set up 70 wheels with brand new supermoto tires on them. Really really cheap for the set up. Thought about throwing them on my 100 cause I don't really ride it that much and I think it'd be a fun bike to ride.

Just wanted some input... And to see if you guys thought it'd be a cool idea to run a 14/12 setup for motard. Would be ideal to have xr80 wheels for the 16/14 setup but 14/12 could be fun.

Someone on Planet minis had a picture of a 100 with 70 wheels, but it was a dirt set up. It looked fun to me.

I put an XR70 front on my 80 so that I'd have matching wheel sizes for my minimoto and it was a direct bolt on, you shouldn't have any issue. If I could do it all over again I'd go 12" though. The 14" tire selection is pretty slim. ?

How cheap is really cheap?

Cheapest route usually is a 16" XR80 front wheel with a Pirelli (can't remember the model name) or Bridgestone BT45 and a matching tire on the stock rear 16".

That's a pretty good deal. The CRF80 front wheel cost me around $25, the BT45 around $110 shipped. I like the larger wheels myself though, not as twitchy as the smaller. Still all kinds of fun for that price and you'll still have your dirt wheels to play with.
