Where to buy just one spoke

Hey guys, I need to buy just one excell spline type spoke and nipple for my 03 rm250. I can only seem to find them in sets, but its pointless seeing as I only need one. If anyone has one or can steer me in the right direction it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

site doesnt work

your dealer should be able to order them in. Which reminds me i need to do the same, thanks.

I know on my xr80 I used to break spokes on the rear wheel quit often and I always just ordered one from my local honda shop. I would think you should be able to do the same at your zuki shop.

He has aftermarket spokes that are different than the OEM part ...... and some manufacturers do not sell OEM spokes individually ......only in the whole kit.

BTW - Buchanans sells over sized spokes that will fix your XR's breaking spoke problem.

must have went out of business, I got some single spokes there in the past.

+1 for Buchanans.

East Coast Wheels went under about a year ago. I think they may be manufacturing wheels for factory effex.

Why not buy a set and then you'll have a spare the next time you break one?

Its a project bike that I plan on selling in the spring. I dont wanna buy extras since my other bikes have normal spokes. I have no idea what size I would need though? Anyone know ?

Moose sells OEM replacement spokes in individuals.

They have single spoke/nipples listed but I been waiting two weeks for a reply from them about this same thing.

Kawasaki sells individual spokes. I am under the impression that the big 4 have interchangeable spokes. You might want to do a seach in the Suzuki forum.

I recently replace 4 broken spokes on a yz250 ebay wheel with kx250 spokes. The nipples look different, but they fit and work perfect.

What size rim (21, 18, 19 inch) (front or rear)? If you could measure one of the other spokes; I have some extra spokes and would mail you one with a nut if I have something close (have some for Excel). If it isn't a match you could just keep it.

I had the same problem and found a complete set of Excel spokes and nipples for my front Yamaha wheel on Ebay for $40 shipped. Just got lucky, though, usually can't find a set that cheap.

I race MX so I figure the chances are I might end up with another peg in my wheel at some point. Always good to have extras.
