The U.S. Congress will be holding field hearings and listening sessions in various cities around the country. The AMA and ATVA encourage riders interested in learning about the development of national transportation policy, including off-highway programs such as the Recreational Trails Program (RTP), to attend one near you. A meeting is scheduled to be held Saturday, February 19th, from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., in Indianapolis, IN. The location address is: Indianapolis City County Building, Room T-260 200 East Washington St. Indianapolis, IN 46204 The event will be in the fashion of a listening session, presided over by a member of Congress, with the public being invited to provide information and perspectives on federal transportation issues as it relates to their communities. If you have an interest in learning about the transportation issues being discussed in your area and applying them to your perspective as a motorcyclist, this is a unique opportunity.
