Stock shim stack KTM 525 SX 2006

Can anyone tell me the stock shim setting (fork and shock) of my KTM 525 SX 2006? I´m not sure if the previous owner has changed the shims and I want the suspension setup to be stadard.

Many thanks in advance!

Piston part numbers are the same. The main difference I noted in the manual is the SXS has internally adjustable preload

I like the sxs settings better than sx personally.Never get the suspension to work well with 0.15mm shims, But use 1.2 bar and std springs for a 180lb rider.

-06 model has OC fork if I remember correct. Sorry I don't have listed -06 settings. Have you checked www.valvinglogic.com yet?

:smirk:

it's an OC fork with an external preload adjuster

bugger LOL forgot that small fact.

Thank you for your answers.

Yes its an OC fork. Yes I checked www.valvinglogic.com but I could not find any useful information for the 06 model.

however that sxs fork setting actually works well(much better than std) in the oc fork with a tad more lift,
