etting flywheel synced with tdc compression stroke

Please school me on how to get my flywheel/stator back into the correct time with my piston. Finding tdc is easy and setting up the flywheel marks is also easy. I took flywwheel off to put on trail techs one and can't remember how to get it to spark at tdc on compression not exhaust stroke. It seems u can be a cycle off since it only sparks revert other cycle. Only thing I can think to do is put it all together and ground piston to frame and see when its sparking. Kit its right good but if its not id have to take cam chain off and put it on the other tdcc if there is an easier way please tell me. Im just in the current process of rebuilding top end and got talked into getting new flywheel.

The CRF ignition sparks every cycle, since it is based off the crank, not the camshaft.

:smirk:

There's only 1 TDC. It's all the same no matter how many times you rotate it. Fires on compression and exhaust stroke.

I hope you noticed the keyway that indexs the flywheel to the crank...
