I never found a pic of the stock 2008/2009 endcap or a pic of the muffler internals so i thought i'd post a few for you guys. These pics are of my '08 450f.

Does anyone know if any of the manufacturers make an end-cap for a 2010 stock muffler? The cap diameter is much smaller than the inner core diameter, you could just replace the cap on a 2010 and get a nice performance boost.

There is a few guys on here running these on 07-09 bikes, they seem to be happy with them. Maybe someone will chime in about 10-11

I'm using the Lexx endcap on my bike. Excellent fit, finish, and quality. No complains as of yet. I'm sure somone makes something similar for the '10. If all else fails just gut the stuck baffles and/or endcap.

Just checked the Rocky Mountain ATV/MC website. They are showing both of the LeXX end cap and the PMB end cap for 2010 YZ450F. The part numbers are different between the 08-09 and the '10 so I assume it is designed to fit the new smaller muffler

FiremanKay....sorry about that. I didn't click on your link and should have. I was thinking it was a link for the 08-09 LeXX end cap rather than the 2010.

I have a '08 YZ450F and I used the PMB end cap...which I am happy with. But, frankly looking at the LeXX end cap and seeing that it also includes the quiet insert...that seems a better deal (the quiet insert for the PMB is another $40 or so dollars beyond the $130 price).

I also like the carbon fiber look. The PMB anodized end cap in blue is close to the Yamaha Blue but not exact and I think the black/grey of the LeXX carbon fiber end cap would look real nice with either the blue or white versions of the YZ450
