Muffler inserts and Chain Guide

I have noticed that the TTR-250 appears to have the same size diameter muffler insert, but has an outlet hole about twice the size of the WR426. Has anyone tried to fit one in their 426? I would like to have alittle more flow, but don't want all the noise of no insert at all.

Also, does anyone know of an after market chain guide that doesn't make all the rattle like the stock guide, or is there a fix for this?

My son has a TTR250 and the insert fits perfect. The hole is bigger and the length is shorter. Put it on the 426, not much difference in sound but a little louder. Never drove it that way, just started it up in the garage.
