Wallowing?

Recommended Posts

What does the term "wallowing" mean when used to describe suspension action or behavior? I see this term often and still don't exactly understand what's meant even when trying to break down the context the term is used in. The only thing that's obvious is that it Is not a positive thing.

its when front/rear or both cannot hold itself up in the stroke ..... mostly noticeable in low shaft speed events and deep sand or mud.

causes might include light springs, not enough comp damping, too much reb damping:thumbsup:

Thanks.

When this happens in the rear, does it feel similar to packing? or is packing a result or effect of wallowing?

Its when the front wheel and rear wheels are attached by a 'universal joint'. ?
