Slow to drop RPMS

Hi all,

I have a 1994 DR350SE. When I roll on the throttle the bike responds appropriately. When I roll off, the RPMs linger on the high side and take a while to (a few seconds) to settle back to idle speed. What should I look at?

Open the fuel screw a little bit. That and/or you may have a partially clogged pilot jet. Cheap to buy and easy to replace.

The air fuel mix screw on the bottom of the carb? Will that add more fuel to the mixture? Does it sound like it could be running lean?
