gearing for 426

I have a 2001 yz426f bored into a 450. I ride mostly in the woods and open flat fire trail and I would like to have a little more control in the woods rather than open speed.

I'm pretty sure it's the stock setup on there now, and it seems like I have to ride the clutch so much that it's not much fun in tight I was wondering if a different gearing combo would work for that.

A 450 is what it is in tight woods. I would consider an auto clutch, but they are not cheap.
