Possible valve prob need help.

My buddy just got a 2007 crf250r. and when kicking it over has a clicking sound the top end then when it starts and is running it sounds fine. then if it dies somtimes it makes the sound just before it quits running. Is this normal? Any ideas would be great thanks in advance

The auto decompression makes a tapping sound while starting and running at low rpm's

So the clicking noise is def the auto decomp took it apart. Is this normal if not how do you fix it? hope its not exploding. thanks for your info.

Yes, it is perfectly normal do not worry about it. When starting the bike i kick it over slowly until I hear the click then I know it is at TDC, makes it easier to start.
