8 or 10 paddle for a crf450r

I was wondering what whats the best for the dunes?

idk never been but if i was you id get a 10 lug. with a 450 u will need the traction

get the 8. i ride the dunes all the time. the kings turbo paddle is my personal favorite.

Depends on the sand. Here in Oregon it's coarse and often wet so a 10 works well on stock 450s, though an 8 works too. Down south is typically finer sand and dry as well, a 10 gets too much traction and bogs unless the bike has bigger cojones than a stock 450.

Sounds like the 8 is the ticket for you

I would go with an 8, if you had a 500 two stroke then a 10 would work good.

my buddys 450 has a 10 paddle. i use a 6 paddle on my 150sx

I run a 10 paddle on my CR 500. You are running lower rpm maybe a 10 paddle would work for you too. If it bogs, consider getting a CR 500.

Thanks for the info....I will keep running my 8 paddle!

best thing i have ever read

but a 10 would be overkill, stick with the 8

My CR500AF would light up an 8 paddle just like a knobby. Worked well with a 12.
