need help asap

hi all just need some info if u can help just bought a yz 250 and the piston is nakerd and barrel i am getting them sorted i need to know the year of the bike i rang a motorcross dealer today and give him the frame number and it is 12 didits long he saidd it needs to be 17 and could not tell me out about it the frame ant been tamperd with at all, can anyone shed some light on this please

Did you write that with your phone? I think three or four capital letters and or a comma may help. What did your insurance agent say? What did the cops say?

Your bike is probably older than the bikes they sell at the dealership
