Honda crf 450 clutch problems

Hey guys,

Just wanted to know if anyone else out there has encountered problems with clutch fade/chattering on their 2009 450f hondas.

If so does any one have any suggestions on how to cure this problem without going down the hinson clutch route??

I bought the rekluse..... Hated the stock clutch. Half way through the moto you couldn't get it to disengage.

Which rekluse clutch did you put in your bike and what are your thoughts about it. I love the bike but the clutch is garbage and makes shifting a pain not to mention the stalling. Thanks, Wade.

I bought the rekluse..... Hated the stock clutch. Half way through the moto you couldn't get it to disengage.

That was because of the steel 90 in the cable down by the case, waaaay too much friction.

Put a 200 dollar hydraulic on mine and never touched it again.

and the pull is lighter than my 250.

An hydraulyc will give a better feeling but wont make your clutch last any longer. If you use the clutch, a six spring clutch system is needed IMHO
