Standard mirrors question

Guys, I've got the standard DRZ-400s mirrors but the right one is loose and I don't see how to tighten it.

There's a lock hut on the shaft right where it goes into the handle bar mount

Try and adjust the locknut on the handlebar mounting point if the whole thing is slack. If the 'post' is tight on the handlebar but the mirror is loose at the mirror/post junction, turn it clockwise without rotating the post and it will tighten itself. DO NOT overtorque. Hope it helps.?

It does but when I've done that, I dont' really get it in the right position and when I try to adjust it, it gets loose again ?

Just in case I'm misunderstood, it's only the mirror itself..

Slide up the taper shaped plastic cover and expose the nut underneath.

I took the stockers off...they suck as far as visibility. I put on Ken Sean's which fold up for woods riding.

I agree and I do have a hard time seeing what's behind me.

Prolly change them one day when I have money. Right now I have 5 bucks to my name, hehehe.

I was gonna do a bunch of stuff to the bike but hell, it came set up very nicely so I never bothered.

Stop the presses. I've got it tightened (now the left one's acting up a bit) and now that they don't droop, I'm actually seeing behind me pretty well so I'm good for now.

Nice! I'm sure those will loosen up shortly leading to mass frustration. ? Follow my lead and show those stockers who's BOSS if you get too annoyed. Crash really hard.
