Washington Golden Spike

Recommended Posts

The StumpJumper website shows the Golden Spike as TBD and the NMA website has it down for 06/04/2011. Does anyone have particulars?

Can I run a MT43 DOT Trials Tire? I don't have any used knobby tires on hand (gave them to friends).

That will work great, just might not look really good after the race.

Repeat after me..."Do NOT put on fresh tires" for this race. Run your has-been tires. Asphalt has a habit of chewing up fresh knobbies in a hurry.

What he said...

New tires would be a huge waste of money...

Asphalt? I thought it was an off road race? How much asphalt is there?

depends on the length of the road.

Naw, it just takes place in an area that includes a former log sorting yard.

Things are looking great for the race this weekend!

The weather is going to be in the 70's AND they got Cayuse pass opened up today so it will be an easy drive for those coming from the north! :smirk:

Also, don't forget about the supermoto races on Sunday...there is a knobby class for those that don't have an actual supermoto setup for their bikes. It is FUN! :smirk:
