Anyone know where I can get a guard for the pipe? I have seen the ones for the RFS bikes but can't seem to find any for the new engine. Only ones I have seen so far are the universal ones from Ricochet Racing. Anyone try them? I hope to get something on there before I smash it:bonk:

Here's some. You could even get the 2 stroke guard and use only the lower skinnier area for the head pipe and cut off the rest. .. ..or just use the ricochet one for $30 until you find something better.

After installing the FMF Q4 and melting my riding pants and a bit of my leg I got the pipe guard from Get Dirty Dirt Bikes:

On the front page are this pipe guard, which I think is not quite what you wanted but I'd rather preserve my leg than my pipe, and Dave Turner's aluminum skid plate and also license plate bracket. Dave told me these are supposed to be available through Americanbeta and by extrapolation through other dealers. I'm pretty sure he sent a bunch of skidplates to stock Americanbeta for distribution but nothing of Dave's appears on the Americanbeta accessory page for some reason. Call the Get Dirty Dirt Bike shop direct if you need to.

Thanks for pointing out another guard. ....Still I'd like a guard to protect the pipe and myself for the header section . I have the flatland rfs one on my bike but just checking for my buddy and to show my dealer in case others want a guard for the 2010+...

This is a nice little site....Thanks... I think they need to continue a little more upgrading though. Some designations for year etc isn't listed. The carbon fiber guard listed looks like the rfs years (09 and less). The carbon fiber frame guards aren't designated either.. still this is a nice hardpart site for a dealership.

I think some of this can go over to an old cross over thread even though these days most everything is now available from Beta. Simple stuff like ktm pegs can be used is good info.

The filter set they have listed looks wrong.

My 2010 520 only has one filter and it is about 5" long. Must be for an RFS motor. ( Made by KTM might give it away )

Looks like they have the wrong year listed for some of their parts. Cool site though! I want me some Beta T-s!

yeah true on a couple parts listings...hopefully the bugs get worked out

Sportsmancyclesales.com is the only site I know of that has a 2010-2011 microfiche though!
