YZ465 stator swap?

No but you can put the WR426 stator and flywheel in there and get about 100 watts.

Yes, there is a mod that you have to do to the stator to make it work with the YZ CDI box.

Don't sound right to me, the YZ/IT is an old air cooled 2 stroke, the 426 is a modern 4 stroke.

I've never done this swap but it sounds highly unlikely these components would interchange.

ya i wouldnt risk it but considering that the it and yz 465 are the same except for the lighting coil and different magneto, it should work

might not need the the complete stator assembly I am pretty darn sure that the stator plates are the same between yz 465/490 and the it 465/490 and the only difference would be a seperate lighting coil that was not bolted on the yz
