XT 250 Suspension Mods

Recommended Posts

Anyone have any feedback on these guys and te products offered for the XT?

http://racetech.com/ProductSearch.aspx?genre=1&brand=Yamaha&model=XT250&year=2009

I know that the guys over at DIrtRider(I think) said that it made a huge difference, but they also spent 800 bucks. I was just thinking about the Gold Valve Cartridge Emulator Kit to start.

Thanks in advance!

Zeb

Well, I talked to Brad at RaceTech and he said that the valve emulator would make a very noticable difference but he would start with the springs(that they don't have) then get the kit. He did give me the name and number for a guy over at the House of Horse Power that he said might be able to help. If it turns out not to be crazy expensive I am going to do the mods and post how well it goes. $169 for the emulators is a great price to mod it if it works. He said that it was very self doable and they send very easy directions with the kit.

The rear suspension would be next down the road.(rear is more tollerable for me than the front) RaceTech does have the Spring, Valve emulator and the other neccessities to do that.
