Front brake help

Recommended Posts

My front brake on my 09 450X has been feeling a bit spongy lately and I have bled it out twice with no air bubbles found. Now when I let it sit over night, I have to pump it a couple times to get pressure and then it is fine but still spongy. I have no fluid loss at all and am wondering if I have a master cylinder problem or something. The bike was new in December. Any ideas or other things to check??

He already bleed it out twice guys...

Could be a leak, check your hose fittings and the pistons. Id also clean the caliper and pistons up real good then re-bleed it with the vacuum pump...were you using a pump or just gravity bleeding it?

I chose not to assume that he actually changed all the oil, since he did not say so.

Going to try new fluid (even though it is pretty new?) and bleed it with a vacuum pump. Thanks guys.
