wr and yz are the cranks the same??

I have access to a yz crankcase cover,8oz flywheel and stator.I am wondering if i can take off the wr cover flywheel and stator and bolt on the yz stuff.I looked at parts fiche but can't tell.I've been thinking about taking off the estart and this would be a cheap way.

Whadda ya guys think??Am i crazy or would it work. ?

Why would you want to lose the e-start?

These things don't need the e-start.It is nice to have but if i could get down to yz weight and keep the wr tranny i would in a heartbeat.

I'm gonna measure up the cranks and see if they are the same. ?

Sorry looks like the stator side of the crank is different between the YZ and WR.

Sorry looks like the stator side of the crank is different between the YZ and WR.

I just saw the different part numbers before i logged in.I wonder what the difference is? I think i'll measure them out and see what the difference is.
