Just thought I would share. Might save others some money. I ran a few different bar combinations and then the same combinations in parallel with a submount (BRP with scotts dampener) Personally, I prefer the Protaper windham bend. Its tall enough with the stock mounts (I'm 6') that I can stand or sit without discomfort. When I added the submount with the Windham bend bars the bars felt as if they were chopper bars. Way too high. I then tried running the CR-Hi bars with the submount. Although the bars are not as tall the pullback makes it feel like the bars are in your lap. If your turn them up then they feel just as tall as the windham bend. So finally bought the protaper carmichael bend. The bend has a very flat profile with little pullback. With the BRP submount it is just slightly taller then the stock bars (windham bend on stock mount). Took it out for some rides this weekend and bike felt great.
