Oops, I thought 07-09 mufflers were the same?

I thought 07-09 mufflers were the same. I ordered a new Bill's slip on which the ad stated was for the 07 RMZ250. The mounting holes are no where close on my 08. Are they different? Or is this just the wrong muffler? I can post pics if needed.

I have a 08 rmz250 and I smashed the stock silencer. I ordered a stock 07 silencer off eBay and it fit ?

After talking with the company who sold me the muffler, they sent me an rmz450 system. That explains why it won't fit! ?
